Fairies, Devas & Woodland Dryads

Woodland Dryads

The dryads are female spirits of nature (nymphs), who preside over groves and forests, each one is born with a certain tree over which she watches. The lives of the dryads are connected to the life of their trees, should the tree perish, then she dies with it. If a mortal, causes the death of a dryads tree then the gods will punish him for it and the dryads themselves will also punish any thoughtless mortal who would somehow injure their trees, unless they are first placated with offerings.

Fairies & Devas

Deva is a Sanskrit word meaning 'a being of brilliant light', a non-physical being, a nature spirit. Devas are small spheres of light that may be seen by all sentient beings. Every plant, wildflower, herb and tree has its own deva (or faery) and by connecting with it you open yourself to its wisdom and life force energy.
